Sofia Wind Farm

Offshore & Energy
HVDC Converter Platform

2022 - 2025

Since 2022, we have been supporting Iv-Offshore & Energy as Site Representative for the construction of the HVDC offshore converter platform for the Sofia wind farm.

This topside will serve as the central transmission hub for a 1.4 GW offshore wind project in the North Sea, located at Dogger Bank—one of the largest offshore wind developments in the world.

Based in Batam, Indonesia, we are responsible for all site activities related to the installation of Iv-Offshore equipment. Our role includes overseeing execution, coordinating contractors, managing interfaces, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and HSE standards.

We act as a key on-site partner, ensuring seamless integration between engineering, fabrication, and installation phases.

Core expertise demonstrated in this project:

  • Offshore wind and HVDC infrastructure

  • Site supervision and contractor management

  • Interface and stakeholder coordination

  • Large-scale energy project execution

Oceano

Superyacht Refit M/Y Lucky Lady

2021 - 2022

For Oceanco, we were responsible for the role of Project Manager Production during the refit of the M/Y Lucky Lady.

In this position, we managed all production-related activities, ensuring smooth execution within tight timelines and high-quality standards typical for the superyacht industry. We acted as the primary point of contact for both the client and subcontractors, coordinating all disciplines involved in the refit process.

Our responsibilities included planning, resource management, progress monitoring, and quality assurance, ensuring that all works were delivered in line with client expectations and contractual requirements.

This project highlights our ability to operate in high-end, detail-driven environments where precision and client satisfaction are critical.

ECT Rotterdam

Port Infrastructure - Crane Modifications

2021

As a consultant for ECT Rotterdam, we managed a critical infrastructure upgrade project within the Port of Rotterdam.

The project focused on modifying multiple quay cranes to increase lifting height, enabling the terminal to accommodate the next generation of Ultra Large Container Ships (ULCS).

Our responsibilities included project coordination, technical oversight, and ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing terminal operations. By aligning engineering, execution, and operational requirements, we contributed to enhancing the terminal’s capacity and long-term operational efficiency.

  • Port and terminal infrastructure projects

  • Heavy equipment modification and upgrades

  • Operational continuity in live environments

  • Technical project management and coordination

Royal IHC 

Batam

2019 - 2020

During the period 2019–2020, we worked as On-site Manager for Royal IHC at the PaxOcean Graha shipyard in Batam, Indonesia. In this project, we were responsible for the construction of two split barges, the Bengel and the Deugniet, for DEME Group.

Throughout the project, we managed the daily operations on the yard, with a strong focus on planning, quality, and construction progress.

A key milestone was reached on 21 February with the successful launching of the Bengel. Later that year, on 29 September, both vessels were in the final stages of commissioning and were nearly ready for delivery to the client.

Arcelor Project Spiral Mill

2018 - 2019

Between 2017 and 2019, we were involved in the Arcelor Spiral Mill project as Production Manager Mobile Mill for ArcelorMittal.

In this role, we were responsible for the full preparation of the Mobile Mill and its production team for deployment on an international project. This included setting up operational processes, ensuring equipment readiness, and aligning the team to meet project requirements in a dynamic, international environment.

During execution, we managed daily production activities, focusing on efficiency, output, and quality control. A key part of our role was continuously optimizing the performance of the Mobile Mill by improving workflows, addressing technical challenges, and enhancing team coordination.

Through a strong hands-on approach and a focus on operational excellence, we contributed to the successful delivery and performance of this mobile production solution.

Huisman (China) 

Xiamen City, Fujian,

2016 - 2017

Responsible for coordinating the outfitting of both 10,000‑metric‑ton cranes for the Sleipnir at the Huisman yard in China.


Acted as the primary point of contact between production teams and the client, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all levels.


Bridged management, shop‑floor execution, and classification requirements while managing client expectations throughout the project.


Based on site in Xiamen, China for the duration of the assignment.
